"Thanks a million for leading us through our derby car building workshop on Wednesday morning. I know the larger group and YMCA regulations were a handful – and you handled it very well. Especially adapting and adding on the second block of wood on the fly.
The boys (and Dad’s) had a great time and the cars came out rally cool. You did a nice job with setting up good safety rules and really helped each of us get a great start on fun cars for our Derby race on Jan 22nd.
Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!!
Thanks again,"

"When can you squeeze us in? Our derby is January 22nd, and we
are willing to take any date before that. This is our last year to participate
and we have built all of our cars at your shop - this will be our 10th car
between two boys.
We might have withdrawal symptoms next year!! I must admit we would
probably not have raced Pinewood Derby without your workshop since we
did not have all the tools. It has been neat to see the boys get more
independent in the building process each year.
Thanks,"

"Thank you Pat. My husband and son were able to show up at 5pm this past Saturday to your house to create their car. So, I believe we are good for now. Thank you so much for opening up your workshop for the boys. This is a big help to the parents.
Regards,"

"Thanks very much for getting our boys into the derby workshop. One of the boys took 2nd place in the pack, so he was quite pleased.
Now wondering if we can do an Arrow of Light workshop . . .
Thanks"

"My son, Anthony, and I attended one of your workshops for the first time this year. As a result, he won the championship. He placed 1st out of 45 cars. Thank you so much for all your help! It was an awesome experience for my son and me. See you next year."

"Just thought I would let you know our car held together well. As a matter of fact, it was the fastest for all Tiger Cubs and 2nd overall for the entire pack of 79 kids! I used graphite three times a week for a couple of months."

"You'll never believe it, but "Cheese" won 1st place!!! Broken wheel and all.
I was losing a little sleep the night before the race just knowing that front wheel was going to fall off.
I couldn't wait to tell you how wonderful you handled my son for the second year in a row. Both years you had to sit him down and have a one on one talk with him and each time it worked. I really wish I had your special powers.
He was really trying hard to make believe that it didn't matter about winning, but he takes after his mother and it ALWAYS feels good to win. He has told everyone he knows all about it.
Oh and the funniest thing was when ---------- from your Saturday group went up to (my son) and said,"Hey Cheese." I doubled over laughing. (We nicknamed this little guy "Cheese" that evening.)
The boys had such a great time and wonderful experience. As usual, you've done it again.
Thanks so much and we'll definitely see you next year.
